Elton John visiting the galleries of the Uffizi in Florence. This morning, the british singer is featured along with husband David Furnish and their two sons, Zachary, age 9, and Elijah, age 6, escorted by any bodyguards, to the florentine museum, for a tour of the museum. Popstar, who was welcomed by director Eike Schmidt, arrived in a wheelchair because he was injured in sports.

He stayed for several hours in the Galleries, also visiting the new rooms that house the masterpieces of Botticelli, Michelangelo and focusing on the works of Caravaggio, Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael. Before leaving the museum, Elton John moved to the Uffizi terrace to enjoy an Italian espresso coffee and admire the city from above.
